Wesley Volleyball Fights Hard but is Unsuccessful as the Marymount Saints take the 3-0 Win

Dover, Del. – The Wolverines (12-12, 0-3) continued conference play Wednesday night in Wentworth Gym against the Marymount Saints. The match went three sets and though the Wolverines showed strong efforts, especially in the second set, they dropped the match, 0-3. 

Set scores for the Wolverines were 19-25, 23-25, 17-25. 

How it happened

Defensively, Wesley had 55 digs in three sets, Emily Waldridge led with 13, Lindsay Burg, Caelli Clifford and Regan Healey all contributing 12 digs each.

Regan Healey led the offense with 12 kills. Close behind Healey was Mary Getty registering 8 and Emily Waldridge with 6.

The Wolverines hit .216 to the Saints .266.

Lindsay Burg had 22 assists to help fuel the offense.
