Volleyball Falls in Tri-Match at Washington College

Volleyball Match one vs. Gettysburg

Chestertown, Md. - Wesley Volleyball took on Gettysburg as their first match of the day in a tri-match weekend hosted by Washington College. The ladies hung tight but fell short in three sets 0-3.

Set scores for the Wolverines were 20-25, 17-25, 22-25.

Defensively, Wesley had 81 digs in the three sets, Caelli Clifford leading with 22, Regan Healey and Emily Waldridge following close behind with 15 digs each.

Emily Waldrige led the offense with nine kills. Mackenzie Bender contributed 8 kills and Mary Getty and Micah Wright with five each.

The Wolverines hit .171 on the match.
 
Lindsay Burg had 14 assists and Brooke Gurganus also had 14 to help fuel the offense.

Match Two vs. Washington College:

Wesley Volleyball drops match 2-3 in five sets against Washington College.

Set scores for the Wolverines were 13-25, 17-25, 25-23, 26-24 and 15-17.

Defensively, Wesley had 93 digs in the five sets, Lindsay Burg leading with 27, Caelli Clifford close behind with 22 and Emily Waldridge with 21.

Mary Getty led the offense with 10 kills. Brooke Gurganus with 9, and Micah Wright contributing 8.

The Wolverines hit .041 to the Shorewomen's .177
 
Lindsay Burg had 31 assists and Caelli Clifford had 7 to help fuel the offense.
