DOVER, Del. – Big weekend for Football's Ruhann Peele and Women's Soccer Emily Caldarelli.
Peele earns the first NJAC Offensive Player of the Week selection this season after helping the Wolverines secure a 69-0 road win at Division II Franklin Pierce. He kicked off his senior campaign by registering 12 receptions for 133 yards and three receiving touchdowns. He reached the end zone on Wesley's second and third offensive possessions of the season, and finished the day with scoring strikes of 23, 5, and 35 yards apiece. Peele currently leads the NJAC in total receptions (12).
Emily Caldarelli earned the AEC Player of the week after she put together a seven-point victory over Mary Baldwin this past weekend, registering a hat trick of goals to go along with an assist. She needed just five shots, three of which were on target, to put away the hat trick in 65 minutes of play. She was also a critical piece of a 2-0 week for the Wolverines, as they pulled the win over Penn State-Brandywine earlier in the week.
