Men's Basketball Wins 97-89 Shoot-out over Centenary

Dover, Del. - The Wesley Men's Basketball team took on the Centenary Cyclones Tuesday night in a non-conference match up. The Wolverines earned their second home win, defeating the Cyclones 97-89. 

Brian Cameron led the Wolverines with 27 points followed by Greg Bloodsworth who tallied 24. Another big scorer was Terrence Braxton who racked up 17 points and five rebounds for the team win. 

Cameron also led the team with eight assists went 8-18 from the field, made 3-of-7 three pointers, and made 8-of-9 free throws. Bloodsworth went 8-13 from the field, made 3-of-8 three pointers, and found five rebounds.  

The Wolverines took control early in the game and totaled 41 points to the Cyclones 32 going into halftime. After the half, Wesley continued to lead by 20 points. Greg Bloodsworth took over scoring for the Wolverines, racking up 16 points the second half to cap off the team win. 

The team will travel to Misericordia on Saturday, Nov. 30th. Tip-off Is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
