Wesley Men's Basketball Battles with Next Door Neighbor Delaware State Hornets but Fall Short of the Win by Three points, 90-93

Dover, Del. – The Wesley College men's basketball team battled with Division I next door neighbor Delaware State Hornets in an exhibition game on Saturday, November 2nd but DSU pulled away an overtime win 93-90.

Wesley led 42-35 to take the game into the second half but DSU's late rally secured their 93-90 win.

Brian Cameron led the Wolverines with 33 points on 11-24 shooting. Cameron added 12 rebounds in 45 minutes of play.

Mychal Stefanides totaled 13 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Greg Bloodsworth notched 12 points while Terrance Braxton dished out a pair of assists. Braxton also recorded seven points for Wesley. 

Russ Keyhea added 12 points and two rebounds while Michael McCants added 10 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists for the Wolverines.

DSU's John Crosby led the Hornets with 37 points 10 rebounds and 2 assists.

Wesley will open their 2019-20 season Saturday, November 9th as they host Ramapo. Game time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
