Ngouendja, Quigley pick up Atlantic East Conference laurels

SCOTT TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The Wesley College women's cross country team competed in the first-ever Atlantic East Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday, hosted by Marywood University.

Natalie Quigley finished in sixth place to pace the Wesley women. Quigley turned in a time of 28:04.2 with an average mile time of 7:31.7 to collect First Team All-Atlantic East Conference honors.

Linda Ngouendja placed 10th in the 6k with a time of 28:51.9. She ran an average mile of 7:44.5 to earn the second team all-conference award.

Jontae Hankins and Maysha Foster placed 27th and 28th respectively in the race. Hankins notched a time of 31:35.7 while Foster turned in a time of 32:56.2. Briana Artis finished 31st with a time on 33:48.7 and Ceoni Bennett crossed the finished line in 33:54.2 to place 32nd.

Courtney Williams (40th, 36:45.7) and Emani McNeil (44th, 39:47.3) rounded out the Wesley runners in the conference meet.

Wesley finished in fifth place as a team with 96 points. Marywood won the conference championship with 26 points.
