Five Wolverines tally six or more kills in three-set sweep of Bryn Athyn

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Wesley College volleyball team rolled to a three-set sweep over the Bryn Athyn Lions, 25-13, 25-17, 25-23, on Tuesday.

Five Wolverines collected six or more kills in the win, led by Regan Healey. Healey totaled 10 kills with 14 digs and a service ace. It is the sixth consecutive game that Healey has recorded a kill-dig double-double.

Mary Getty and Nya Lightfoot each notched eight kills. Getty added a block assist in the middle. Elisa Hackendorn and Micah Wright collected six kills apiece. Wright also blocked two Lion attacks.

Lindsay Burg dished out a team-high 24 assists. Teaghen Vogelsang registered 10 assists along with four block assists.

On defense, Caelli Clifford recorded a game-high 16 digs on the back row.

Hannah Dewees had 11 kills for Bryn Athyn.

The Wolverines have a quick turnaround as they host the Penn St. Brandywine Lions tomorrow at Wentworth Gymnasium. The game is set for a 7 p.m. start.
