Healey named to All-Tournament Team at Guetle Invitational

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Wesley College volleyball team split two matches at the Guetle Invitational hosted by the Catholic University of America on Saturday.

Wesley swept the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats, 25-22, 25-6 and 25-21 before dropping their final match to the Chatham Cougars in three sets.

Regan Healey was named to the All-Tournament Team after the invitational after collecting 20 kills, 17 digs, four service aces and four blocks in Wesley's matches on Saturday. She also recorded a double-double in the match against Chatham.

Against Pitt-Greensburg, Lindsay Burg registered a double-double with 17 assists and 10 digs while Allison Mills tallied a career-high 25 digs. Mary Getty blocked five attacks, including three solo blocks. Kaya Ziskay notched four kills and four service aces in the win.

Burg joined Healey with a double-double in the match against Chatham. Burg dished out 27 assists along with 14 digs. Ziskay tallied 10 kills and six digs while Micah Wright chipped in with five kills. On defense, Mills dug out a game-high 18 digs and added five assists.

The Wolverines will be back in action on Wednesday at 7 p.m. when they head down Route 13 to take on the Salisbury Sea Gulls in a non-conference match.
