Volleyball stumbles against Goucher

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College women's volleyball ream dropped a three-set match (25-22, 25-20, 25-23) to the Goucher Gophers in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday.

Tionne Graves-Brown led the Wolverines with nine kills and seven digs. Nya Lightfoot and Nadia Hopkins each registered four kills while Jessica Tynes and Elisa Hacendorn recorded three kills. Tynes added four digs and three service aces.

Caelli Clifford had a match-high 17 digs. Regan Healey chipped in with five kills on defense.

Lindsay Burg dished out 13 assists while Teaghen Vogelsang tallied 10 assists.

Greta Coss had 12 kills for the Gophers.

The Wolverines (13-9) will resume conference play on Friday when they head to Southern Maryland to take on the St. Mary's Seahawks. The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
