ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Wesley College women's volleyball team defeated Centenary, N.J. (25-11, 25-14, 25-14) and Rosemont (25-9, 25-11, 26-24). Wesley advances to 10-6 on the season while Centenary N.J. falls to 0-17 and Rosemont falls to 2-12.
The Wolverines played the Cyclones from Centenary College (N.J.) to start of the day. Jessica Tynes and Tionne Graves-Brown each had a game-high eight kills apiece while Kadijah Doughty had six kills and assisted on three blocks in the match. Tania Rounds also contributed with three service aces.
The second match of their day pitted the Wolverines against the Rosemont Ravens. Rounds contributed another four service aces in the win while also garnering a game high six kills. Beth Schlecker assisted on 17 of the match's kills while Graves-Brown and Meghan Marshall each had nine digs in the match.
The Wolverines host Penn. State Harrisburg on Wednesday, October 1st at 7:00 PM for their first CAC game of the season.
