Women’s Soccer battles in a close match with Cabrini to open AEC play

RADNOR, Pa. – The Wesley College women's soccer team dropped a close 1-0 road match to the Cabrini Cavaliers in both teams' Atlantic East Conference (AEC) opener.

Cabrini scored the lone goal of the game in the 29th minute when Kait Cloud was able to score when Isabelle Fabris came out of the box to play the ball.

Jada Simon recorded four shots for Wesley. Mackenzie Forsythe registered three shots, one of which was on goal while Megan Shacklock added a shot on target in the loss.

Fabris made six saves in net for Wesley.

Wesley (5-3-1, 0-1 AEC) will be on the road on Saturday at 1 p.m. when they take on the Neumann Knights in AEC action.
