Women’s soccer drops CAC contest to Southern Virginia

BUENA VISTA, Va. – The Wesley women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) matchup to the Southern Virginia Knights on the road Saturday night. 

Megan Shacklock tallied eight saves in her first collegiate start in net. Sammy Williams put a shot a target while Amanda Butkus also recorded a shot for the Wolverines.

Cora Jewell and Clarissa Barton scored for the Knights.

The Wolverines are back in action this Wednesday, Oct. 11 when they host the Penn State- Harrisburg Lions. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
