Women's Lacrosse secures fourth-straight win in 19-1 victory over Rosemont

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College women's lacrosse team cruised to a 19-1 victory on Monday over the Rosemont Ravens to extend their season-opening win streak to four games. 

Wesley scored six seconds into the game and never looked back. Wesley outshot Rosemont 31-5 and was able to convert 19 of their 24 shots on target into goals.

Fallon Fore paced Wesley with four goals and three assists. She added six ground balls, five caused turnovers and a pair of draw controls.

Paige Brehm, Emily Magness, Kassie Dieter all registered hat tricks in the win. Brehm scooped up a team-best eight ground balls with six caused turnovers. Magness caused four turnovers and picked up three ground balls.

Nicole Evans and Brianna Bacon each scored a pair of goals while Andrea Lopez Herrera and Taylor Speicher each chipped in with a goal. Kathleen Martin handed out three assists in the win.

In net, Maria Rowland stopped five shots to earn her fourth win of the season.

Maciana Mazzeo scored the lone goal for Rosemont.

Wesley (4-0) will look to tie their program record for best start to the season on Thursday when they host the Lycoming Warriors in non-conference action. The opening draw is set for 5:30 p.m.
