DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College men's soccer team will host their College Soccer Fall Clinic on Saturday, Jan. 19 at Drass Field at Scott D. Miller Stadium. The clinic is open for current high school male seniors and is designed to provide players the opportunity to experience a college-style practice conducted by Wesley College coaches, staff and players in a small group setting.
During the day, there will be two coaching sessions designed for the players to improve their game and be better prepared for the speed of the college game. Two tactical and technical sessions conducted plus scrimmage time and lunch break with opportunities to spend time with current student-athletes or attend an information session on recruiting & college.
The registration fee is $70 and includes a Wesley soccer t-shirt. Pre-registration is requested online, but payment (cash or checks) is accepted on the day. Make checks payable to Wesley College Soccer.
The camp runs from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Check-in at the stadium (GPS Address; 500 Clara St. Dover, DE 19901) is from 9:30 - 10 a.m., and all campers need to bring soccer cleats, turf shoes, shin-guards, clothing appropriate for weather conditions and a change of clothes. Lunch is provided at noon. Parents and coaches are welcome to view the sessions from the bleachers.
