Wesley falls in season opener to Randolph-Macon

ASHLAND, Va. – The Wesley College men's soccer team dropped their 2017 opener, 4-0, on Friday to the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in the first game of the Yellow Jacket Classic, hosted by Randolph-Macon.

Sophomore goalkeeper Kyle Springsteen made three saves in net. Freshman Darius-David Robinson tallied two shots, including one on target. Fellow freshmen Saad Salman-Nahi and Djabari Collymore each notched a shot on goal.

The Wolverines (0-1) will continue play in the Yellow Jacket Classic tomorrow when they battle on the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins. The action is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m.
