Laucht, Schlosser, Waldron tabbed as 2017 Wesley men’s soccer captains

DOVER, Del. – Wesley College men's soccer seniors Seth Laucht, Patrick Schlosser and Matt Waldron were named captains for the 2017 season.

"I know they will work hard to be the best they can be as student-athletes here at Wesley and also to help our program by setting the right example in the classroom, our community and at training," commented head coach Steve Clark, who is entering his 28th season at Wesley.  "Seth and Matty (Waldron) showed their leadership qualities during the spring workouts while Schlosser is a track and field All-American that was working hard during the spring qualifying for nationals and has progressed significantly on the pitch. These lads are competitive and want to win but are also selfless, team-oriented student-athletes who I believe will set the right example for the rest of the team this fall."

The Wolverines will kick off the 2017 campaign on Friday, Sept. 1 at the Randolph-Macon Classic in Ashland, Va.
