DOVER, Del. – Wesley College's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee collected and donated 1,155 pounds of food to the Food Bank of Delaware as part of the annual Capital Athletic Conference Challenge. The Wolverines became just the second school in CAC history to donate over 1,000 pounds of food during its ten-day collection period which went from Nov. 10-20.
Wesley's record-breaking donation was bested by only the University of Mary Washington. St. Mary's finished third in the challenge with 836 pounds, followed by Frostburg State (744) and York College (743). As a conference, the CAC donated a record 6,154 pounds to various charities in time for the Holiday season.
