Men’s Lacrosse falls to Marymount on the road

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Wesley College men's lacrosse team opened up the inaugural season of the Atlantic East Conference on the road and fell short to the Marymount Saints, 16-5 on Saturday.

Cody Loyd and Adam Tewey both netted first-half goals for Wesley. Leo Kelly scored both of his goals in the second stanza for the Wolverines. Zach Farnell and Jack Guzman chipped in with a goal and an assist each.

Defensively, Kelly and Kyle Mackall-Lloyd both scooped a game-high five ground balls. Kelly also dished out an assist in the loss. Nick Bruhn and Ben Mitzel both caused a trio of turnovers.

Dylan Sicca and Bryce Haraldsen combined for 15 saves in net. 

Clark Akers led the Saints with three goals.

Wesley will be back in action next Saturday, April 6, when they host the Immaculata Mighty Macs. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
