DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College men's lacrosse team suffered an 18-7 loss to the Western Connecticut State Colonels on Wednesday.
Zach Farnell tallied two goals in the first half and a pair of markers in the fourth quarter for a career-high four goals. Cody Loyd netted two unassisted goals in the fourth quarter, including one with a man advantage for his second multi-goal game of the season.
Leo Kelly scored Wesley's first goal of the game two and a half minutes into the contest. Adam Tewey assisted on both of Farnell's first-half goals. Kelly and Tyler Johnston provided the dime to Farnell's fourth-quarter goals.
In goal, Dylan Sicca stopped 12 shots, picked up four ground balls and caused three turnovers.
Donald Schaumloffel had five goals and three assists for Western Conn. St.
Wesley will host the Hood Blazers on Wednesday, March 20 at 4 p.m.
