Moss Scores Twice in Men's Lacrosse Loss

ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Wesley College's men's lacrosse team fell at Eastern University, 14-2, on Saturday afternoon at Olson Field.  The Wolverines fall to 3-3 while the Eagles improve to 5-1.

James Moss scored both of Wesley's goals, but Eastern's trio of goalkeepers saved 21 Wolverines shot attempts.  Michael McQuarrie was once again stellar at the 'X, winning 8-of-12 faceoffs to go with a game-high nine ground balls and an assist on Moss' second goal with3:43 left in the second.

Defensively, David Gorski was credited with three turnovers and Matt Ryan made nine saves in goal.

Eastern was led by Grant Ferguson (5g, 2a) and Chris Farrar (3g, 3a).

The Wolverines return to the field on Wednesday, March 20, when they travel to Penn St.-Abington in a 4 pm faceoff.
