Wolverine Basketball Camps

Saturday, June 15th, 2013
Wolverine Basketball's "June Madness": a one-day shootout for the first 16 varsity high school teams that register & pay for this event. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games during the course of this one day, while the two who advance to the championship game will receive a fourth. More information to come soon.

June 17th - June 20th: Future Wolverine Basketball Camp - Brochure
This camp is geared towards youth that range from 8 - 14 years of age. Camp will be held at the Pitts Center in Dover. More information and brochure to come soon as well.

Saturday, June 22nd: Wolverine Basketball's Elite Camp
This one day camp is geared towards young men who will be going into the 9th - 12th grades AND who want to take their game to the next level. Players will participate in a typical college practice while receiving instruction from Wesley College's men's basketball staff. In addition to this, players will learn about the demands, requirements, commitment, and much more about what it takes to play at this level. Other topics to be covered include basketball specific strength & conditioning, nutrition for athletes, academics, the financial aid process, and more. Enrollment will be limited in order to ensure maximum individual attention. Spots are reserved only for those who send in both registration & payment. 2013 Wolverine Basketball Summer League
Teams will play a regular season of 12 games (two per night) over the span of six weeks which will culminate in a single elimination tournament that will crown a champion. ALL league games are officiated by certified local referees. In addition to this, a sportsmanship award and Most Outstanding Player award are decided on by league officials & coaches (respectively). Games are held on Tuesday nights in Wesley College's air-conditioned Wentworth Gymnasium and at local high school(s). Games will be held on: June 11, 18, 25 and July 9, 16, 23. Playoffs will be held on Monday,July 29th and Tuesday,the 30th. More information will be sent to area high schools during the early spring.
