Men’s basketball’s win streak ends at Frostburg

FROSTBURG, Md. – The Wesley College men's basketball team's four-game win streak comes to an end, dropping the regular season finale, 91-74 to the Frostburg St. Bobcats in Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) action on Saturday. 

JW Lawson and Brian Cameron each picked up 13 points for the Wolverines. Cameron was 5-of-8 from the field and 3-for-5 in three pointers. Lawson connected on five of his seven shots and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.

Brandon Lewis notched 11 points and four rebounds. George Cook scored nine points and six rebounds. 

Evan Anderson netted eight points while Terrance Braxton chipped in with six points off the bench. 

Tyler Michael had 21 points for Frostburg. 

With the loss, the Wolverines (13-12, 9-9 CAC) are the sixth seed in the CAC Championship Tournament. The Wolverines will travel down to Salisbury to take on the third-seeded Sea Gulls on Tuesday. The quarterfinal matchup will tip-off at 7 p.m.
