CNU pulls away from men’s basketball in second half

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College men's basketball team fell at home to the Christopher Newport Captains, 68-48 in Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) action on Saturday. 

Evan Anderson and Brian Cameron tallied double digits for Wesley. Anderson notched 17 points to tie the game-high. Cameron totaled 16 points in the loss.

Off the bench, JW Lawson registered a team-high nine rebounds along with nine points. Mychal Stefanides grabbed six rebounds while Paul Clemons corralled five rebounds.

Nick Park scored 17 points for CNU.

The Wolverines (9-10, 5-6 CAC) are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to York, Pa. to take on the 7th-ranked Spartans. The game is scheduled for an 8 p.m. tip.
