Mary Washington upends men’s basketball in close contest

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – In a back-and-forth game, the Wesley College men's basketball team dropped a close 88-84 decision to the Mary Washington Eagles in Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) action on Wednesday.

Brian Cameron led all scorers with 32 points, going 12-of-19 from the field and knocking down two 3-pointers. Cameron also reeled in eight rebounds.

JW Lawson scored 18 points off the bench. Lawson was 7-of-10 shooting from the field. He also recorded six rebounds.

Mychal Stefanides netted 15 points and six rebounds while Paul Clemons scored 11 points.

Drew Johnson paced the Eagles with 25 points.

The Wolverines (5-7, 1-4 CAC) will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Southern Maryland to face the St. Mary's Seahawks. Game time
