Spielberger wins at Ursinus

POTTSTOWN, Pa. – The Wesley College men's golf team competed at the Ursinus Fall Invitational on Tuesday at Raven's Claw Golf Club in Pottstown, Pa.

After 18 holes, Tyler Spielberger finished in a tie for first place with Shane Nocito of Penn St.-Abington, both shooting an even-par (71). Spielberger ended up taking the individual trophy after the scorecard tiebreaker.

Sean Creel tied for 20th after carding an 84. Josh Covey recorded an 86 to tie for 24th place while Kevin Polk shot a 92 to finish in a three-way tie for 35th.

As a team, Wesley tied for fourth place with a score of 333. Cabrini took the team title with a 313.

The Wolverines are back in action on Monday, Oct. 2 when they take part in the Muhlenberg Invitational at the Lehigh Country Club in Lehigh, Pa.
