Field Hockey stumbles at home to Virginia Wesleyan

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College field hockey team fell short to the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins 2-0 on Tuesday.  

Jessica Behornar registered two shots, one of which was on target. Brittany Bishop and Hanna Giaccone also tallied a shot in the loss.  

Kasey Fry earned a defensive save late in the first half.

Emily Price and Elizabeth Roberto both scored for the Marlins.

Bridget Wood collected seven saves in net.

The Wolverines will be back in action Thursday, Sept. 27 when they host the Arcadia Knights at Drass Field. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
