Field Hockey upended by Albright for first loss of 2018

READING, Pa. – The Wesley College field hockey team stumbled for the first time in 2018, 3-0 on the road to the Albright Lions on Wednesday.

Hanna Giaccone tallied three shots on goal for the Wolverines. Kaila Hindt also put a shot on target in the loss.

Sidney Knott and Lauren Berry split halves in goal. Berry stopped three shots in the second half while Knott notched a pair of saves in the first half. Brittany Bishop collected a defensive save in the latter part of the game.

Nicole Crumling, Jennifer Crumling and Annette Helmandollar all scored for Albright.

The Wolverines (4-1) will be back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 18 when they host the Eastern Eagles at Drass Field. The game is set for a 7 p.m. start.
