Field Hockey blanks Neumann, 1-0

ASTON, Pa. – The Wesley College field hockey team took down the Neumann Knights, 1-0 in a non-conference showdown on Thursday.

After a scoreless first half, Kaila Hindt got Wesley on the board five minutes into the second half off an assist from Morgan Gannon.

Wesley controlled a majority of the game, outshooting Neumann 10-4 and owning a 4-2 advantage in penalty corners.

Sidney Knott notched three saves to collect her second shutout of the season.

The Wolverines resume conference play on Sunday when they head to Western Maryland to take on the Frostburg St. Bobcats. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
