Manna collects NJAC Defensive Player of the Week award

PITMAN, N.J. – Senior linebacker Samer Manna was named New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Wesley's 31-14 win on Saturday over Christopher Newport on Senior Day to complete an undefeated NJAC slate.

In the final regular season game of his collegiate career, he produced 13 tackles, including seven solo stops, 1.5 tackles for a loss, and a sack. He also forced two fumbles while also registering a quarterback hurry and a pass defended to help the Wolverines secure their ninth consecutive victory.

Manna leads Wesley with 90 tackles and currently ranks tied for third in the NJAC in tackles per game (9.0).
