2012 (Sophomore): Ranked fourth on the team with 53 tackles and also recorded two interceptions and two pass breakups… Earned the starting ‘Mike’ linebacker position midway through the season… Opened the season with four tackles at East Texas Baptist, followed by three more at Salisbury… Recorded a season-high 11 tackles and also broke up a pass against Mary Hardin-Baylor… Picked off a pair of passes and made ten stops at Louisiana College and was subsequently named the ECAC and BSN Defensive Player of the Week… Earned his first career start against Birmingham Southern and was credited with five tackles and a pass breakup… Tallied seven tackles in back-to-back games against Virginia-Lynchburg and at Menlo College, followed by a five tackle performance at Huntingdon… Missed the Apprentice game with an injury but returned to play injured against Cortland State in the NCAA Second Round.
