Wesley Moves Up in Polls

DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College football team moved in both the D3football.com and American Football Coaches Association Top 25 rankings.

Wesley inched up two spots to No. 11 in the D3football.com rankings and now sits at No. 16 in the AFCA poll, a three-spot jump.

The rankings come after a lopsided 72-0 win over Husson on September 24.

Wisconsin-Whitewater tops both sets of rankings and is followed by Mount Union each time.

Two teams on the Wolverines' 2011 schedule are ranked in the polls.  Salisbury is 25th by D3football.com and 19th by the AFCA, while Kean rates 10th and 13th, respectively.

Wesley heads to Division I FCS foe Charleston Southern on October 1.
