Wesley College is committed to graduation rates of the players, personal development, the integrity of the programs, and now through FCA sports ministry offers spiritual development. FCA is an international non-denominational ministry. FCA's Vision is “to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.” According to Coach Chambers Wesley FCA Director, “It is our goal to establish an environment where developing the Total Wolverine, not just the athlete, is a priority.”

FCA encourages Wesley athletes to set the standard for their peers by embracing Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do (athletically, academically & socially) work at it with all your heart." Coach Chambers states, "Wesley FCA's success is not determined by wins and losses; our success is determined by the people of character athletes and Coaches become."  We are committed to positively influencing athletes and coaches, offering them a life transforming relationship with Christ to grow and establish a foundation for life.

FCA offers team Chapel meetings, team prayer, team development, one on one meetings, discipleship, leadership development, community service initiatives and spiritual development opportunities on campus and internationally.   To learn more about FCA, contact Coach Chambers:  rchambers@fca.org  302-222-9397.

"Coach Chambers", Randy Chambers, FCA Wesley College Athletics Character Coach

Coach Chambers enters his eighth year with Wesley College Athletics and serves as Character Coach with several Wesley teams.  Coach Chambers is the State Director for Delmarva & Delaware Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Coach Chambers worked for Acme Markets and coached at the high school level for 10 years before a successful leadership career with Fortune 100 MBNA.  Randy graduated from Delaware State University in 1996 (B.S. Accounting) and served seven years with MBNA, leaving a senior management position to follow God’s calling to sports ministry.

Randy’s passion for Wesley athletes and Coaches is fueled by life adversity, and surviving three near death car accidents.  He is passionate about helping Wolverines navigate through their past and/or current distractions.  Randy’s exuberance for life, and inspiring others have been shaped through the tragic deaths of his father, brother & best friend.  Coach Chambers inspires and motivates Wesley athletes and coaches to maximum athletic potential and their life purpose.

Coach Chambers received the Outstanding Young Man of America Award in 1997 while at DSU.  While at MBNA, Randy received Colin Powell’s America’s Promise Award in 2002.  Coach Chambers utilizes coaching and business experience to disciple Coaches, athletes and leaders to fulfill the Great Commission.  Randy, Melissa and their sons (William 10, Edward 8, Patrick 4, Andrew 2) reside in Camden, DE.
