Clemons. O’Neale named Wolverines of the Week

DOVER, Del. – Senior forward Paul Clemons and junior guard Stacey O'Neale earned Wolverines of the "Week" honors for Dec. 12 – Jan. 9.

In seven games, Clemons has picked up double-digit point totals in five of them, averaging 18.2 points per game and 8.8 rebounds per game during that stretch. Clemons also notched double-doubles against Roanoke on Dec. 17, Immaculata on Dec. 20 and St. Mary's on Jan. 6.

So far this season, Clemons leads the Wolverines in rebounds per game (6.8) and ranks fourth in scoring (11.9 ppg).

O'Neale set the school record in 3-pointers made in a game, when she hit nine 3-pointers in a 29-point effort in Wesley's 66-61 win over St. Elizabeth on Dec. 19. In a six-game stretch, O'Neale averaged 13.0 points per game.

O'Neale leads the Wolverines in scoring (10.2 ppg) and 3-point percentage (41.8).

Both Clemons and O'Neale were named Capital Athletic Conference Players of the Week on Dec. 26.
